Food aside, I’m a software engineer based in New York, formerly San Francisco. You can usually find me dancing (West Coast Swing, contemporary, misc. other styles), doing photography, climbing, or exploring significantly more hobbies than a single person can sustain. =)

Random Cooking Thoughts

  • Sharp. Knives. Please sharpen your knives.
  • Pasta water should be salty like the sea!

Food I Think About Not Infrequently

  • The hummus from Abu Hassan in Tel Aviv.
  • The omakase in Tsukiji in Tokyo, or really any of the sushi in Japan.
  • These super spicy chicken samosas off the street in Penang, Malaysia that almost made me cry from the spice. I have no idea what the place was called now but the pain was so worth it.
